Fall Camp
We canoed overnight from Carter Montana to Fort Benton. Carter still has one of the few operating ferries. Much of the country remains the same as when Lewis and Clark came through. This was the first time Larry had used wool blankets for camping. He grabbed what he had and brought them with him. Unfortunately they were not long enough or wide enough to double over him. So he spent most the night without covers. Lesson learned: try out your gear before you really need it.
